I was reading Derek Landy's latest post and I feel incredibly guilty about taking advantage of what I have. All I wish to say is that I hope all those affected by earthquakes, fires, floods and all those other disasters will be ok. In hindsight I would like your opinion on something, instead of chatting on Derek Landy's blog (except for the absolute necessary, of course) I will start a new blog just so we can chat, tell me if you think I should.

No. Derek's blog is good. You did not take advantage of it, no one did. The people who didn't like us commenting made unfair and rash decisions about us, and should be ignored. We talk on Derek's Blog and the Overflow, nothing else. We have a right to be there like the NZ people, but the stupid people who argued with us didn't realise that. Do not make a new blog so we can chat, that's for Derek's Blog and the Overflow only, Jaffa. So don't. No matter what other people say. We shouldn't be made to suffer for something we didn't do and couldn't have helped. So there is no need to make a new blog for it... just don't.
ReplyDeleteThe people who argued with us have already split the SP gang in half. You're trying to split it into quarters by making a new blog, it wouldn't help whatsoever. It would make it worse.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good idea, you were being considerate. But there is no need to be. We would have no use for the blog, and I would be on Derek's anyway. It's just pointless having it and people will be stuck from going on Derek's and coming on yours. If it comes down to it, we have the Overflow anyway, so your idea has already been created pretty much, so there would be no point in having it. Don't Jaffa.
