40 hour Famine

Hi everyone!
Not sure if anyone goes on here anymore, but it's worth a shot as I need all the help I can get.

From the 16-18 August I will be participating in the 40hr Famine.

For 40 hours I will be giving up food to raise money for World Vision to help give supplies to struggling families around the world.

Good Deeds

Hey guys!

So recently (well today) I've started trying to make a difference. On Wednesday in chapel (I'm not majorly religious but chapel is once a week at school) Father Tony talked about a shoebox thing. It's where you fill a shoebox with things like school supplies, coloring pencils, clothe ect. and they are then sent off at Christmas time to children around the world.

Today, some friends and my self went shopping and manage to fill a total of two boxes thus far. Now I'm not rich, I'm fact my family sometimes barely makes it by, but I love helping others. So I've started saving up my money so I can do as many as I can :)

I very much urge you all to do the same. Any way you can help will always be appreciated by someone somewhere.

Makeover

I know I haven't been around much, and it sucks. I miss you guys heaps and I really wish we were all in contact more.

New Phone = More Blogging!

Hiya folks!
How've you been? Sorry I haven't been around much, had a lot of stuff happening but now I have a new phone, I can blog more! :D Well, strictly speaking it's not really a 'new phone' you see, my old phone was really spazzy. It wouldn't always send or receive texts and it was on a really bad payment plan and mum got sick of it. So she bought the new iPhone 4 (you know, the one with Siri?) and I got her previous iPhone :D I downloaded the Blogger app so now I can update whenever and I can upload photos straight away! Yay!! You shall hopefully see more of me now :)

Sometimes Shit Happens, And Sometimes it Gets Better.

So, an explanation of why I haven't been around... (If anyone cares)
As most of you know, I self-harm. Now, 3 of my friends (In real life) know this. Let's call them A, J and B. On the second last week on term 1, J went to the school councillor and turned me in. Apparently she was extremely worried. This was the day my life took a huge plot twist. J went to see the councillor at recess, next period I was pulled out of this talk we were having with an author (It was literature week) and sent to the councillor. After I came back down I was trying not to break down or lose it. I caught the last 20 minutes of the talk but then we still had 10 minutes of class left, as we left the talk I ran into B. Quick Sidenote: B is one of my best friends and I had a crush on him at this point. He noticed I was upset so he said he'd meet with me at lunch. So at lunch I pretty much broke down and told him everything. He was amazing about it. I ran into A & J at lunch and J had explained to A what happened. To put it nicely, I was pissed off. I was trying to be nice as I could but, what was I supposed to do?

A couple of days later, the school called my mum and now she and most of the teachers know, so I am extremely pissed at the councillor because not only did she tell everyone, I DIDN'T get to tell mum myself and now mum is sending me to a councillor outside of school... fun.

Now for the good news. One of my other closest friends, D, knows and he has been awesome. I'm still friends with A & J but sometimes it gets difficult and as of the 30th of April, B is my boyfriend. I actually have a boyfriend :D still trying to get used to that. The only annoying thing is that both B and D are in the year above A, J & me so we only get to hang out at Recess, Lunch and RPG (Role Play Games). So, there you have it. Sometimes it feels like I'm living in a novel and someone is writing out my life. For the record, I hate going to the councillor, but having great friends really helps.

I am a Horrible Person...

I am SO sorry I haven't update!!! I had a sprained wrist and then school got in the way and AHHHHH!!!
Anyway, I'm at home sick so I thought I might as well update :)

Questions: Are any of you Nerdfighters?
                  Do any of you watch Torchwood and/or Doctor Who?
                  Are any of you Aussie minions going to see Derek when he comes over? I am going to ask
                  Mum to take me :D

GUESS WHAT??

In January of next year I'm going to America, and then in July of next year, I'm going to Cornwall and Cardiff!!!! Do any of you live in those areas? If yes, then EMAIL MEEEEEE!!!!

Oh, I also got braces during the holidays and they are super annoying. I have to go to the Orthodontist today as well -_- fun...

Anniversary

1 year..

1 whole year ago my life turned around completely.

I came stumbling onto Derek Landy's blog asking what fanfiction was... a hell of a lot has changed since then.

I still remember who the first person I talked to was (Nicolette), I still remember thinking how you lot were completely insane

but I also remember staying up until 3am with a tin of Christmas jellybeans talking to you lot and having the most amazing time.
You guys accepted me straight away, introduced me to the world of blogsland and all the people in it.
And I couldn't be more grateful.

I've been on here for fights, people leaving, world disasters, marriages, divorces, people coming and going, family problems, in sickness and in health, fanfiction, OCs, Competition, I even shared New Years with you.What I've learnt is that we're just one, big, insane family. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love you guys so much.
I've had one hell of a year (as you can probably see from my previous post.) But you guys were always there for me. And I hope that by now you know that I'm here for you too.

So, 63 posts, some insane memories and almost a year later, we're still here, one huge family who never breaks no matter what and I hope that never changes.

Thank you for being the most amazing people I've ever met.

Self-Harm

This post is going to be a lot more serious than my last one.

I know a couple of you know this but no one who I actually see on regular basis does. Well, did. On Thursday night I told 2 of my closest friends. I cut. I self harm. We sat there, we cried but I am so glad I told them. I'm getting better, I really am. I've been bullied and had one of the worst years of my life this year but I pulled through. And I want you all to know that if you ever need someone to talk to, someone to ask questions too, then I'm here. Just send me an email and I'll do everything I can to help. Because you're not alone.

Rabbits, Summer and Dying My Hair.

Hey everyone!!

How are you all? Sorry for the slow updates but they will be quicker now because IT'S SUMMER!!!! :D School broke up on Thursday so I'm free for summer!!!!!
On that note. The first thing I did was me and my friends dyed our hair (wash out dye of course) my hair is now temporarily dark reddish purple and I'm thinking of dying it dark red later on this summer :)

Now, bunny rabbits. Me and my sister have recently accquired a baby bunny rabbit each (I'll post some pics later) Mine is grey and his name is Dapper and my sister's is white with brown patches who she named... Patches :P

Because it's summer I now have more chance to chat with you guys which'll be fun!! Hope to chat soon!

Dear Best Friend,

You don’t exist. Simple as that. Yes, I have close friends, but not a best friend. My best friend is imaginary, books, fiction, my own creation because no one else gets it. There’s no one to tell, no one who could possibly understand me, no one who I can just call when needed, no one who I can go on vacation with, meet up at a moments notice, like the same things I do and won’t criticise my rambling or obsessions. Society

Ok, so this isn't gonna be a happy post, to be honest it's gonna be rather angry, but I promise I have and epic halloween post and a fanfic post coming up soon.

WARNING: There will be ALOT of swearing in this.

So today we were getting changed after sport and one of the pretty, skinny girls was complaining about how fat she was, and that PISSED ME OFF! I was so fucking upset that fucking SOCIETY makes people think that they need to skinny and like make up and have the 'perfect clothes' to fit in! Then the other day one of the girls said that one of the songs she was listening to was 'old' it had been out for TWO FUCKIN' WEEKS!!! I still listen to songs from YEARS ago and think they're cool, SO WHAT??
And when I brought some of that up in the change room? They laughed at me, they fucking LAUGHED at me!!! Then there's those people who go around calling people 'fags' or 'gay' or 'homo' as an insult. IT MAKES ME SO FUCKING PISSED OFF! Can't people learn some respect? Society is such a bitch. Causing people to think that's acceptable. It's so wrong! Stero typing, calling people names, discriminating, IT'S SO WRONG!!!! UUUGH!
